Victoria's Secret is owned by L Brands, Inc., a company founded by Leslie Wexner in 1963. After years of success, in 2020, L Brands announced plans to spin off Victoria's Secret as a separate publicly traded entity. In 2021, the brand officially became its independent company and now operates on its own in the retail market.
