Kit Kats were invented by Rowntree's, a British company, in 1935. The idea originally came from a chocolate-covered wafer bar called "Rowntree's Chocolate Crisp." The name was later changed to "Kit Kat" after a popular literary group, the Kit-Cat Club. Since then, Kit Kats have become a worldwide favorite, loved for their unique crunch and variety.
