To make a background transparent in Paint, first open your image. Use the "Select" tool to highlight the area you want to keep. Click "Invert Selection" to select the background instead. Press "Delete" to remove it. Finally, save your image as a PNG file to retain the transparency. Your image now has a transparent background!
