To change the background color in Adobe InDesign, select the page or the frame where you want to adjust the color. Go to the 'Swatches' panel and choose a color. You can also create a new swatch by clicking on the New Swatch button. For full-page backgrounds, use the Rectangle Tool to create a box and fill it with your selected color.
